Wilson’s timeless skewering of gay male love begins as a couple cozily toasts their one-year anniversary. Suddenly a drag queen –who has been watching the play bitterly–storms the stage. She claims that gay men never get a happy ending and demands a rewrite. This sparks another drag queen to step up and advocate for the power of love, yes even for gay men! What follows is a wig-to-wig battle for control of the narrative which throws everyone into an existential crisis. Will there be a happy ending?
