Joey Arias is a cabaret singer, jazz vocalist, cult film star, performance artist, fashion icon and alien. INFAMOUS for his Saturday Night Live appearance with Klaus Nomi and DAVID BOWIE, LONG ACCLAIMED for channeling Billie Holiday, INTERNATIONALLY REVERED for his collaborations with fashion icon Thierry Mugler, Arias has performed worldwide at venues that include Carnegie Hall, The Freedom Theater in London, as well as cabaret clubs of Paris, Tokyo, Moscow, Germany, Finland, Estonia, Canada and England. Joey took part in the creation of the MC character for Cirque du Soleil’s Zumanity; a role which Arias played for many years. On film, he has appeared in Mondo New York, Big Top Pee Wee, Elvira Mistress of the Dark, Wigstock-The Movie, To Wong Foo Thanks For Everything Julie Newmar.
Joey will be doing the classics, channeling Billie Holiday, jazz standards, a jazz twist on Beatles and Zepplin songs, some originals from the upcoming album on BEIGE RECORDS and more! This is a special opportunity to see this National Treasure live!
